Around 26-Sahil
Around October 10, 2025 Sahil and I went to Central Island. One year on, we revisited Central island and also did sketch studies and review of our Science Journal.
One year ago, Sahil had left PhD program and given my background, I felt a significant wave of unease and agitation. The island has been a thinking place for over a decade. We also went to Edison park-New Jersey late summer and went through the monuments associated with Menlo Park and scientific innovation.
MUSINGS ON A DIARY
A diary can be a brake to the day, a letter to oneself, a mirror which ends up revealing the reader as well as the writer. So, after many journeys, trips we settled down for a peaceful meal together at Nirvana -Brunel-Mississauga, and we went through the past 24 hours. I told Sahil about the talks I had with my aunt-in India, and we remembered the times in 1980s when I would visit them and have meals together at Gol Market. That reminded me of the times when my father PNB told of his pre-medical study days in the 1950s, when he would have Chole-Kulcha at Gol market. We spent some time remembering the visit of his uncle and aunt from New Jersey to visit grandparents and the different energies which came along. This afternoon, it was different. Later we did some readings from Kite Runner- of Khaled Husseini and Sahil told how one of the characters tells that there may an opportunity to be good again. We reflected on how this story set in Afghanistan in the 1980s has parallels with persons moving from conflict zones. Later in the day we went for a walk at Riverwood and meditated by Credit river where I made this video diary.
